Hi p4 ;D this is my first time posting on our patrol blog. so im nt sure whether to use formal/ informal laguage.. nvm i shall try (:

all the year 2s are extremely grateful to all our seniors for being so FANTASTICALLY WONDERFUL & simply AWESOME. we learnt a lot from you all and we still have much more things to learn. (: 3 of us really look up to you as our role models, we respect you like our teachers in guides, we love you like our own true sisters. We hope to bond more with you all and be closer together as one family.

finally, as for our patrol roles, we are all very excited about them and we are very happy with them. Siyun will try her very best in assissting me and XiaoQi as A-QM & A-FA. XiaoQi will strive to be the best QM in the entire jie and keep XDX neat & tidy. As for me, the first aider, I will work hard too! and make our first aid kit the neatest, chio-est, best-est, zai-est one in guides! ;D

place: kallang leisure park
time: meet 2pm at the subway entrance

we are having lunch at subway.
after that around 4.15 we will go ice skating.
the price for 2 hours is around $16.50 if i am not wrong. ( plus the rental of the shoes)

Yesterday was the last jihe before we broke off for EOY.

We jihe-ed at the general science lab and proceeded to the area behing the general science lab to build our flagpole. We did not manage to finish within the allocated time and had to ask for time extensions.
After finishing, we had to build a kitchen tent with P3, P6 and P8.
Due to some problems with the canvas sheet, we did not have enough time to complete the fire altar, dustbin and kitchen tent.
Thanks year 3s for helping us finish! :D

Following that, we had outdoor cooking. We cooked chicken curry and eggs.

Lastly, we had OJ. P4 combined with P8 for this activity.

The first station was 夜里行军 and we did not manage to complete the whole thing. Also, we had some stuff that had gotten kup. We realise that it is very important to pass down messages during 夜里行军. Also, we were tested on trekking signs at the first station. However, since P8's year 2s had gone, shih ming had to transfer to P8 temporarily.

Secondly, we had Minesweeper. The PL had to help people cross while the others ding-ed boy style. After crossing, the others had to zhan-ma.

Lastly, we had gas room. We were also tested on first aid skills here. For gas room, we have to be careful when opening the door. Also, when entering the room, we have to cover our nose and mouth with our scarf. Also, we have to open the windows when entering the room and lie low at all times. We have to locate the switch too. After completing the gas room, we had to ding leg raise while each person went out one at a time to answer questions.

Great job P4, we got in first! :D

By the way, I've changed the skin :D haha

1. remember to help each other out during guides,
be it seniors/juniors/batchmates.

2. everyone are reminded to avoid ABCDE at all cost,
if you still dont know what it is, go find out and NEVER ABCD
being disrespectful is one of the worse thing you can do so dont do it
therefore, learn to draw the line between seniors and friends.

3. dont make the same mistake twice or more,
learn from mistakes and correct it on the spot.
e.g attire.
you can know that your friend is going to wear sports shoe, dont you go follow her and wear sports instead of canvas shoe
or your friend tuck out her shirt so you tuck out your shirt.
wear the correct attire and make your friend (eg batchmate) wear the correct attire too.

4. lastly, 不是跑就是飞
dont you forget this.
hopefully that whenever we pass by you guys during jihe timings,
we hope we wont see strolling people,
especially if you're from p4.

:) therefore, remember to cooperate with the sec3s & 2s &1s.

on a side note,
the blog can be a medium for you guys to joke ard to relieve stress
and bond further esp at times when eoys are approaching and theres no guides
dont let it be dead for that long.

amidst all the laughter and games hope you guys gained something through this and bonded more as a patrol, and with the whole company yea.

so here's one more thing, remember what missngau said about the cookie tin design competition? yep these are the details.

you're supposed to design a cookie tin design for this year's cookie sale, which includes a compulsory guides logo and some compulsory words.

specific dimensions are attached on the entry form (currently with me)
may be submitted in any medium, including but not limited to : drawings, illustrations, paintings, digital art.
designs may be drawn in any medium, including but not limited to: poster paints, water colour, crayon, colour pencil, pastels.
photographs will NOT be accepted.

closing date: 5pm on fri, 29 may.

prizes:
1st prize: $50

hey, this coming sat is Combined Telematch, and I've been getting quite alot of ppl asking me what exactly is it, so I'm here with the newly updated news.

Time: 8.30 - 6 pm
(may require you guys to come earlier too)
Venue: In school / field outside school
Attire: Coy Tee and PE shorts

we are teamed with P8 and Tiger Patrol (scouts), and together, we are team 4.

we're called The Super Jedis

which actually stands for Tiger Sunflower Jasmine haha.
for those who dont know what Jedi is, its something to do with star wars (or is it star trek?)(whats the difference between the two anyway -.-) ok yes I'm quite a noob at all those. but yea, SUPER JEDIS!

for this activity, we'll need to do an identity and flag, and it will be graded and recorded in the scores.

Activities we'll be having on that day include:
Scavenger hunt, water war, table soccer (with the human as the player), relay race and gladiator.

we also need to come up with a performance with the format like the algorithm dance.
some really funny dance with veryvery funny moves.
which requires all of us with extremely synchronised actions haha.

Today, some of us went to NTUC childcare centre to do our CIP.

haha it was really kind of fun, although tiring and chaotic for our first day, and working with small little kids ranging from 2 years old to K1 really proves to be a challenge.

We have to stand firm and not let overpowering occur. Together, we have to train up all our standards (physical, lashes, notes, etc) to set a good example for juniors to look up to.
